Dumble and J. Woodham’s 2001–02 dental GIS work examined the allocation of dental-therapist resources and the targeting of health promotion. The project linked children’s records with homes, schools, water and fluoride information, income, NZDep96, school rolls and therapist rosters. ArcView supported geocoding, overlay analysis and reporting. Handwritten therapist forms were collated and scanned for the reporting process.
