Whites Aviation’s photographs recorded settlements, roads, industry and landscapes from the air. Leo White’s commercial photographic work created a substantial visual record alongside government survey photography. The collection later passed through commercial owners before its acquisition by the National Library in 2007. The imagery records places and developments later represented in digital mapping.
