Brendon Woodford is a University of Otago computing researcher and teacher whose interests include machine learning, knowledge engineering, health informatics and information-systems development. His doctoral work, completed in 2008, examined intelligent decision-support systems for New Zealand horticulture. His research has included neural networks, fuzzy systems, image recognition and data visualisation, followed by applications in health data analytics.
