In 2007, Esther Christiane Rind completed MSc research at University of Canterbury titled “Investigating the spatial distribution of campylobacteriosis in New Zealand”. The 2007 Canterbury research used GIS and hierarchical statistical analysis to investigate the distribution of notified campylobacteriosis and geographic variation in environmental and socioeconomic conditions.
