Janelle Palmer is documented by Northland Regional Council as the GIS specialist developing a web-based afforestation viewer for the Hill Country Erosion Fund programme. The viewer brought erosion, property, waterways and other contextual information together for land-management work. She also presented Northland Regional Council GIS work at the 2018 New Zealand Esri User Conference.
