LINZ’s 2017 geospatial virtual field trip identified Sharyn Westlake as a Senior Engineer in Flood Protection at Greater Wellington Regional Council and as a geospatial subject-matter expert for schools. Her inclusion records the use of spatial information in regional flood-protection engineering as well as the professional outreach around that work.
