The 1:250,000 national map-sheet images published for use within GIS.
LINZ's Topo250 series supplies printed maps and corresponding georeferenced raster images for national and regional use. The LINZ Data Service records a 2011 publication of its raster layer; that service date should be kept separate from the underlying mapping series and the observations on individual sheets.
The digital sheets retain cartographic symbols and labelling as pixels. They are a separate product from the Topo250 vector features used to produce maps, and from the older national 1:250,000 mapping programmes.
