PersonJulian Thom

Julian Thom studied surveying at the University of Otago and worked with Robert Odolinski on precise GNSS positioning research. Their peer-reviewed work examined between-baseline differenced and instantaneous real-time kinematic positioning using simultaneous GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS measurements.

Thom received the Student of the Year award at the 2018 New Zealand Spatial Excellence Awards. University of Otago records identify him as one of Odolinski’s students and as a co-author of the GNSS research published in Survey Review.
