Robert Odolinski

PersonRobert Odolinski

Robert Odolinski joined the University of Otago School of Surveying in 2015 and researches precise GNSS positioning, including low-cost receivers and smartphones. His work links geodesy and positioning with the wider spatial profession and the practical use of satellite navigation in New Zealand.

He received the 2018 New Zealand Spatial Excellence Award for Education and Professional Development and has served on New Zealand’s National Positioning Infrastructure Coordination Committee. He became an associate professor at Otago in 2024.
